This is a space for knowledge-sharing and inspiration, where environmental topics are made accessible.

At its core, My Air Aware is about driving awareness, sparking curiosity, and increasing action.

Why This Blog?

This blog was created out of curiosity and a sense of urgency. After attending the Google Global Air Quality Summit 2024, I was inspired by the diverse perspectives and solutions shared by experts across industries. From new technologies, to community-led initiatives, these conversations sparked a desire to compile, explore, and share these ideas.

Environmental issues are often viewed through a narrow lens, but they affect nearly every aspect of our lives – our health, education, and overall future. Through this blog, I aim to bring these connections to the surface and encourage conversations that lead to meaningful change.

ABOUT ME

I’m a high school student with a passion for environmental science, specifically in understanding and addressing climate change. Over the past few years, I’ve immersed myself in research, focusing on air quality and its effects on public health and education.

In 2024, I conducted an independent study on how poor air quality (PM2.5) impacts students’ academic performance, motivation, and mental health across the United States. This research combined collecting and analyzing data, leading to meaningful insights that I hope will inspire action.

Beyond my research, I’m driven by a commitment to learning and a desire to connect diverse perspectives in this field. Through My Air Aware, I hope to share what I’ve discovered as well as continue to learn from incredible experts.
